It is often convenient to characterise failure or repair data in terms of a probability distribution that can then be used in further analyses. WeibullPro provides a very convenient method for you to correlate the data to a distribution and obtain the relevant parameters. You can enter your failure and repair data directly into the WeibullPro table or use the import facility to obtain data from a 'comma seperated values' (CSV) text file. Now all that you need to do is choose from 1-, 2- or 3-parameter Weibull distributions or exponential, lognormal or normal distributions. WeibullPro automatically fits the selected distribution to the data provided and displays the results graphically in the form of culmulative probability density plots and conditional probability density plots. The plots may be viewed on the screen or printed to a report together with the data on which the distribution is based.
